About Kern County Central Valley Amateur Radio Club
The Kern County Central Valley Amateur Radio Club (KCCVARC) is a nonprofit organization serving amateur radio operators throughout Kern County and California’s Central Valley. The club promotes amateur radio through education, communication, technical knowledge, public service, and fellowship within the local ham radio community.
KCCVARC welcomes licensed operators of every experience level and license class, from newly licensed Technicians to experienced General and Amateur Extra operators.
Operating under the W6LIE call sign, KCCVARC is recognized by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) as a Special Service Club, reflecting the club’s commitment to supporting amateur radio, its members, and the surrounding community.
